Who handles your data

The data controller is Marco Lorica. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

Contact form

When you send the form I keep what you write: name, email, phone and company if you provide them, the topics you pick and your message, together with the site language, your IP address and the browser you write from.

I need them to reply to you and to protect the form from abuse. The legal basis is your request to be contacted. You get a confirmation email and I get a copy of your request: emails are sent through Brevo.

Chat

The messages you write in the chat are sent to Anthropic, which provides the artificial intelligence model (Claude) that replies. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use these messages to train its models.

The conversation stays on the server only for the length of your session. If the chat blocks you, I keep an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, not the address itself, and the message that caused the block, to prevent further abuse. The block can be removed on request.

Don't write personal data you don't want to share in the chat: to talk about a project, use the contact form.

Captcha

On the Contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that whoever sends the form is a person and not a program. To do this, Cloudflare processes some technical data from your browser.

Tools

The tools work in your browser: the files you open, such as PDFs and images, are not uploaded to the server.

Providers

Some of the providers of the libraries this site uses are based in the United States: data is transferred with the safeguards set by the GDPR, such as the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

The site only uses technical cookies: a session cookie and a security cookie against forged submissions. No profiling, analytics or advertising cookies: that's why there is no cookie banner.

How long

Form requests are kept as long as they are needed to follow up the contact and any work that comes from it. The chat conversation disappears at the end of the session; blocks stay until they are removed. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to object to its processing and to receive it in a readable format, by writing to [email protected]. If you think your data is being mishandled, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
